As well as ensuring people don’t go hungry, our foodbank works closely with local agencies to ensure that the underlying causes of people’s financial crises are addressed.  Ali, our Advice Worker, is available to chat to people in crisis and help point them to further sources of local support.

Other Support:

• If you have children aged 0-4 or are pregnant, you may be eligible for NHS Healthy Start vouchers. With Healthy Start, you get free vouchers every week to spend on milk, fruit, vegetables, and infant formula milk. You can also get free vitamins.  Please see here for details.

• If you are struggling to heat your home, to cover the costs of fixing your boiler or buying basic white goods to store or cook food, the Exeter Community Energy project may be able to help.  Find out more about their Winter Warmth project and Healthy Homes Hardship Fund.
